Gomez: A Man with a Vision

Meet Matthew Gomez — bartender and founder of Grain & Garnish. Gomez cut his teeth in the Seattle restaurant industry, eventually becoming a seasoned bartender and beginning a life-long love affair with craft cocktails. Inspired by the food truck boom, Gomez envisioned imaginative libations on wheels. First, he customized a 1985 school bus — transforming it into a Cocktail Coach with a mobile bar — and eventually added a 2009 Chevy HHR to his fleet, equipping it with six taps for premium beer, wine, craft cocktails and non-alcoholic specialties.
